Baby got Books has posted a spreadsheet that calculates how many of the 1001 books you’ve read; it’s pretty sweet.
My score: 113.
I’m a bit ahead of where I was last summer simply because a couple of the classics I’ve now abridged for Sterling.
Busting out bad joints all over the place

Wow. I’m at a sad 49, though I do own more than half of these volumes. Does that count?
44! I redeem myself by smiling and saying I have heard of many of them and a few I own and a few are on my TBR Mountain…
Thanks for the linky love. 113 is pretty amazing.
Hi there. Came to you from Scarbie. I scored 96. Great score you have there!
I stopped counting after I found that none of that written by william shakespeare is included in the list. Above 1001 I recommend “The Guide” written by R K Narayan.
A few months after Baby Got Books published that spreadsheet, Arukiyomi came out with one that takes things a little further.
